Holistic Approach
We adopt the holistic approach in all our assignments. It is one
of our starting point in terms of choices and one of our key guiding
philosophies. In this approach all the sectoral activities and multi-disciplinary
conceptions are viewed as inseparable entities which have some influence
on one another where one action triggers another, which if not properly
handled could adversely affect the sector in question. Every situation
is different.
Participatory Approaches
Success of projects depends on creating favourable circumstances,
i.e, an enabling environment in which all stake-holders interact
with each other to achieve desired outcomes. In this way projects
become sustainable financially, environmentally, socially and economically.
Maintenance/Establishment of interests and project ownerships.
ERC's concept of partnership approach incorporates a level of
equality partnership in bringing together and forming a relationship
between all parties involved in a project.
Ecosystem Approach
ERC's consultancy services are undertaken with an ecosystem approach
based on process and system-oriented method. An ecosystem approach
facilitates environmental, natural resource managements, social
economic and other systems that integrate knowledge from a range
of disciplines about the environment, it encourages recognition
of complexity and change. It also promotes cooperation and is simultaneously
both descriptive.
